The EasyDrop Surf School

Our surf teaching program puts safety in first place, closely followed by individual attention, highest equipment standards, and a full set of highly developed teaching techniques.

We guarantee a minimum instructor-student ratio of 1:3. Fully individual instructions are provided at now extra cost whenever there is demand.

All practical classes are recorded to video, and the footage is discussed with the students in daily theoretical seminars. Practical classes are also supported by our unique in-water radio system.

Our students' profile is about 50% of each gender, main age range 25 to 40. Anyway we often attend families and provide special child care at no extra cost.

Who is EasyDrop?

The EasyDrop Surf School was inaugurated in 1998 and has since then enrolled over 3.000 surf students.

With 10 years of serious, dedicated and innovative work, EasyDrop has become reputable all over the world.

The surf instructors are heart and soul surfers with a vast experience in surf teaching. Most of them compete in surf championships (long and shortboards), besides graduating as Surf Championship Judges from the Brazilian Surfing Confederation (CBS). All are Brazilian with solid English-skills, friendly and charismatic, and totally into surfing, besides enjoying skateboarding, bike-riding, swimming, fishing, jiu-jitsu, music, and photography.

Certifications & Memberships

All EasyDrop instructors are bi-lingual (Portuguese-English) and certified by the International Surfing Association (ISA), by the Brazilian Council of Physical Education (COBFEF), and as public life guards (by SOBRASA).

The school itself is registered at the Bahian Surf Federation (FBSurf), at the Brazilian Council of Physical Education (CREF), and member of the Brazilian Association of Adventure- and Eco Tourism Travel Companies (ABETA)
